Barb Randall

Barb Randall grew up in a household that encouraged playing with food. “Everybody in my family is a cook, and I married a cook – a GOOD cook!”  From exotic to classic cuisines to the art of canning, Randall’s curiosity about food has allowed her to hone her culinary skills to the expert level.  She founded Come Play with Your Food Cooking School in 2001 as a means to introduce people of all ages to the great flavors of Oregon’s wide variety of produce.

Today, children and adults enjoy classes with Randall.  Besides teaching in the Randall Test Kitchen for her own school, she teaches cooking classes for In Good Taste, Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation and Lake Oswego Adult Community School as well as Lake Oswego Community School. 

Randall is the author of “Lifting the Fork”, a food column which appears weekly in The Lake Oswego Review and West Linn Tidings.
