Ivy Manning is a freelance food writer, cooking instructor and personal chef. She is a graduate of Portland Culinary Institute and has worked at some of Portland's best restaurants and has cooked and studied cooking in Italy and Thailand. She has 5 years of teaching experience. Her writing has been featured in Cooking Light, Fine Cooking, Pacific Northwest Best Places Guide, Sunset Magazine, and in her regular column, Vegetarian Flavors in the Oregonian newspaper.
