Josie Ross

Josie Ross embarked on her culinary career before she could walk; as soon as she could hold a spoon she was helping her mother in the kitchen. Josie grew up fishing with her dad, gardening with her mom, and cooking and eating as much as possible. Later, she studied Italian cooking  in Florence, Italy. She graduated from the University of Nevada with degrees in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. Josie has won various contests for the recipes that she has created. Josie has worked in many aspects of the food industry, but has found her home at In Good Taste. Here, she can pursue both her passions for food and writing, while taking advantage of all that Oregon has to offer.  She loves to use local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients in her cooking, and is always trying new techniques and recipes.
