Have you always wanted to recreate the dishes of traditional Mexico in your own home? Chef Billy Schumaker of Portland’s own Taqueria Nueve and D.F. will show you how.
Billy, along with his D.F. co-owner, Stephen, has spent months at a time traveling throughout Mexico and Mexico City for the past several years, studying the Cuisine and culture. Inspired by these trips, the two aim to infuse traditional Mexican food with modern culinary techniques, new ingredients, and unique presentations. In the tradition of centuries-old Mexican cooking, all ingredients are locally grown & organic whenever possible. Critics are calling D.F. one of the best new restaurants in Portland.
