French-Creole Feast with Josh Blythe of ROUX
Spend an intimate evening with Executive chef, Josh Blythe, of ROUX. He will prepare this incredible feast for you and show you how to re-create the menu at home.
In 1997, Josh was drawn to the Pacific Northwest, eager to participate in a burgeoning culinary movement focused on local-organic, sustainable practices. He worked with Cory Schreiber at Wildwood Restaurant & Bar for nearly two years and then worked his way to Sous Chef at Paley’s Place. He moved to the Pearl District’s 750ml as Executive Chef in 2002, and spent time in the Ripe kitchen cooking Family Supper. Josh also took a turn as a menu Chef at Portland’s revered Genoa-- where he cooked while managing his own catering business, FEAST.
In the Fall of 2004 Josh signed on as the Executive Chef with business partners Dwayne Beliakoff & T.J. McHugh to open ROUX, an upscale French-Creole and New Orleans inspired restaurant which opened in October, 2005.
