Hands on: Pan Asian Seasonal Seafood
Join us to prepare a contemporary collection of seafood dishes influenced by the ingredients and techniques of Asia. The cold weather of winter produces excellent seafood. The techniques in this hands-on class include frying and steaming shellfish and broiling and searing fish.
Crab Toasts Crab and white cheddar grilled to molten crispness
Oyster Tempura with Hot and Cool Sauces Sriracha sauce and salsa verde form a delicious contrast
Salmon with Peanut Sauce over Braised Greens
Pan-seared Halibut and Buttery Mashed Potatoes with Chinese Chives
Clams steamed in Ginger Broth Shreds of fresh ginger and toasted sesame oil flavor briny clams
Chocolate Truffle Cake with fresh Cranberry-Orange Sorbet (served but not demonstrated)
