Mother’s Bistro serves home-cooked food at its zenith, prepared lovingly from scratch using the best ingredients.  Chef Lisa Schroeder, owner of Mother’s, will demonstrate in detail how to cook seafood to perfection, just as it is in her award-winning restaurant.  In this class she will teach the techniques of how to cure lox, how to prepare mussels, how to grill fish, as well as much more.

Gravad Lax with mustard sauce & Potato Gaufrettes: Waffle-cut potatoes add an earthy crunch to suave lox

Moules Marinières: mussels poached with wine and aromatics

Grilled Wild Salmon with a Honey-Red Onion Compote, Red Wine Beurre Rouge & Spätzle: The compote and butter sauce add layers of flavor to the salmon and spätzle

Crème Brûlée: creamy and rich, the perfect ending
