Gavin is the lead line cook at Lake Oswego’s Five Spice, where he has worked since it opened in December of 2004. Before that, he worked under Marcus Samuelsson at Riingo in New York.
Heart of Romaine Yuzu Caesar Salad Whole leaves of romaine combined with crispy, sweetened capers, tossed with an Asian-inspired Caesar dressing and topped with cheese curls
Traditional Vietnamese Bo La Lot Ground beef marinated with turmeric, onion, lemongrass, and garlic, wrapped in la lot leaves, grilled, and served with Vietnamese Nouc Cham dipping sauce
Crisp Cucumber and Melon Soup with Dungeness Crab Salad
