Hands on: Eat Local An Adventure with Sustainable Foods
In June, we enjoy the first days of summer’s promise of heat. June brings us the most gentle of berries – Oregon’s celebrated strawberry – as well as many other long yearned for flavors. As if from a winter’s nap, our first sip of Strawberry Sangria awakens our spirits and palates to the promise of the Oregon Bounty. We celebrate June’s harvest with:
Oregon Strawberry Sangria
Grilled Artisan Bread with Fava Beans and Escarole
Thick-cut Ribeye Steaks with Little Oak Farm Honey-Mustard Vinaigrette and fresh Thyme
Pockets of Grilled Pepper, Zucchini and Onion Confetti
Bursting-with-flavor Cherry Tomato and Fava Bean Salad
Summer Bread Pudding with 'Hood Strawberries
