Hands On: An Evening in Tuscany

 

Tuscany is one our favorite places on earth with its unique and varied landscapes, great villas, palaces, gardens, and art. And then there is the Tuscan wine, peppery olive oil, Chianina beef, and array of cheeses. In this class, you will try your hand at creating a variety of Tuscan-inspired delicacies.

 

Stuffed Zucchini with Pecorino Sauce

Zucchini cups stuffed with chopped zucchini, shallots, and Parmiggiano Reggiano in a pool of creamy Pecorino Toscano sauce

 

Cantaloupe Salad

Ripe melon tossed with white wine vinegar, extra virgin olive oil from Tuscany, and topped with soppressata salami and goat cheese

 

Pan-Roasted Corn & Crabmeat Risotto

 

Grilled Lamb Chops with Rosemary Juniper Jus

Juicy and rubbed with garlic, juniper, and rosemary and then grilled to perfection

 

Plum and Red Raspberry Crostada
