An Evening with the Mushroom Forager
Oregon is internationally famous for its bounty of wild mushrooms. In this class, you will taste an assortment of locally harvested wild mushrooms and enjoy a full meal of dishes inspired by them. Learn the techniques to incorporate wild mushrooms into your daily cooking. Our assortment is subject to the whim of Mother Nature and the fall weather patterns.
Dan Brophy is a Certified Executive Chef and a Certified Culinary Educator. He is an edible inner tidal specialist and has been a Master Gardener since 1992. Dan is also a mushroom forager and a grower and supplier of edible flowers, trick vegetables, herbs, fruits, wild mushrooms, and brown eggs.
