Concoct Your Own Dessert

with Cheryl Wakerhauser of Pix Pâtisserie

We will make several basic French pastry recipes and then each student can use any or all of them to design their own original dessert. Use the recipes as a starting point for your dream dessert, or as a base for your own dessert buffet party!

Here are just some of the recipes we will prepare in class:

Pastry cream

Meringue

Pate Sucrée

Chocolate Mousse

Génoise

Pate a Choux

and more!

Combine these with an assortment of different flavoring agents, decorations, and assembling techniques who knows what fabulous and original dessert you will create!

A light buffet will be served at the start of class
