Carabella vineyard is an ideal 49-acre site in Oregon’s North Willamette Valley. It was planted in the spring of 1996 to five clones of pinot noir, Dijon 76 chardonnay, and pinot gris. Vineyard owner Mike Hallock has provided fruit to such top Oregon estates as Ken Wright, Rex Hill, Daedalus, Zelko, and Owen Roe. Mike also makes a small quantity of wine under the Carabella label that has won praise and high scores from some of the nation’s most prominent wine periodicals.
