Hands on: Advanced Artisan Bread Experienced baker Tim Healea of Pearl Bakery demystifies the process of making sourdough breads. Learn what sourdough is and how to have great results with it at home. We’ll take a look at what factors affect sourdough and how to maintain a healthy sourdough starter at home. This class is hands-on, but with a significant amount of lecture/demo, and is for dedicated bakers who have some experience with bread and want to delve deeper into the breadmaking process. We will make a sourdough starter in class for everyone to take home with them.

Traditional Walnut Levain
Crusty Panini Rolls
We will create a meal of sandwiches on our fresh baked bread, accompanied by a simple salad and wine.
