A French Valentine’s Day "Small Bites for Big Hearts" with Pascal Sauton and Julie Hunter
A Parisian native, Pascal Sauton received his culinary training both at L’Ecole Hoteliere de Paris and the renowned three-star Michelin restaurant Lasserre in Paris. He spent time working at several top Parisian restaurants perfecting his education, then took his talents to Cayenne, French Guyana. Sauton moved to Portland in 1997 with his wife, Julie Hunter. The two opened Carafe, a Parisian-style bistro in downtown Portland, in August 2003.
