Hands on Italian Techniques: Fresh Pasta with Amelia Hard and Allison Bader
Join Allison and Amelia for three very special classes that will give you all the experience you need to create three of Italy's most glorious specialties in your own kitchen. Buon appetito!
In this class, Amelia and Allison will show you how easily you can make your own fresh pasta using the pasta-rolling attachment that fits onto the KitchenAid mixer. You'll have a chance to roll out and cut the pasta, and you'll also learn how to fill and shape tortellini. We'll serve a generous antipasto platter before you start cooking and a salad and dessert after we've enjoyed our handmade pasta dishes.

Fettucine Verde al Granchio spinach pasta cut into wide noodles and tossed with Dungeness crab and cream
Tonnarelli al Pesto di Olive square-cut pasta in an aromatic black olive pesto
Tortellini Bolognese the classic meat-filled pasta of Bologna, served in a light sauce of butter, parmesan cheese, and black pepper
Insalata di Finocchi, Arancie, e Cipolle a refreshing winter salad of thinly sliced fennel bulb, orange segments, and sliced red onion
Mele al Forno baked apples stuffed with pine nuts and raisins and served with a dollop of mascarpone
