Happy Thanksgiving
Greetings!

We're back in the kitchen cooking and baking up a storm. It's that time of year. There's nothing quite like the aroma of baking apples or roast chicken!

This month, we are looking forward to celebrating not only our own family traditions but learning about and celebrating other traditions too. We have classes centered around the food festivals in Italy, Indian celebrations such as Diwali, and even holiday celebrations in the hill country of Texas! You can also join Cory Schreiber on a virtual trip to Italy and spend an evening in Paris with Nancy Forrest and Chris Arnerich.

After feedback from you that you'd like changes in the way we process class registrations, we are testing out a new system to make signing up for classes easier. With the new system, you'll be able to view how many seats are left in a class, and you can pay for the class directly with your credit card. You'll also be able to view the classes that you've signed up for as well as view past classes. We think you'll love the new changes but I'm sure there will some bumps along the way. Hang in there with us as we improve our class reservation system.

Here's wishing you and your family a happy Thanksgiving season - from our family to yours!

Passage to India

 Julie Sahni

This month, we are delighted to host noted cooking teacher and cookbook author, Julie Sahni, to In Good Taste.

Julie has won many awards for her books and we are delighted that she has agreed to journey from her famed cooking school in New York to teach us all she knows about Indian food and Indian herbs & spices.

She will teach two classes for us: Understanding Indian Spices and An Enchanted Indian Evening.

Diwali Lights
In November, we also have a class that is becoming an annual tradition for us: Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights. Once again. Leena Ezekiel draws us in to this wonderful cultural celebration and gives us a glimpse into the festivities. Don't miss this all-important celebration; details of the menu and class are here.
MAC Professional Knives

Many chefs have asked us to carry the MAC knives, a favourite with them. We are pleased to announce that we now have them in our store. Come by and see what all the chefs are raving about.
Have a wonderful holiday season and don't hesitate to call on us if you need help. We hope to see you in one of our cooking classes soon.

Sincerely,

Barbara Dawson
