Blueberry Compote

A perfect sauce to top ice cream or a pound cake, and it only takes five minutes.

1 pint blueberries

2 oz cassis

1 oz sugar

In a small saucepan, heat berries, sugar, and 2 tablespoons water over medium low. Stir to dissolve sugar and soften berries. Stir in Cassis. Cook on low for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
