Eric Boor
Eric Boor has been making and studying the craft of sushi since 2005 when he started
working under Takashi Gibo in his namesake restaurant.
Eric has worked in many diverse and interesting sushi bars and Japanese restaurants in and around
Portland, OR including Masu, Masu East (currently Bamboo sushi), Bara Sushi House and Hiroshi. Eric recently helped open Hokusei in SE Portland, one of Portland's newest and most exciting Japanese restaurants.
Eric has always enjoyed teaching others how to prepare sushi and is looking forward to teaching more
students how to prepare sushi at home, for events or just for fun.
