                                              Jeremy Niehuss, Executive Chef

                                              “Making people happy is the greatest reward in life,” says Jeremy Niehuss, Executive Chef at In Good Taste Cooking School.

                                              Chef Jeremy Niehuss brings to the table his experience of Chef de Cuisine of Fenouil and Lucier here in Portland, combined with over 20 years of professional culinary experience.  He studied culinary arts at Kendall College in Chicago and restaurant management at Western Culinary Institute here in Portland.  He has worked at many great restaurants throughout the country including Commander’s Palace in New Orleans, The American in Kansas City, and Trio in Evanston, IL. 

                                              His cooking style embodies an approach that combines solid technique with exceptional ingredients and love.  He understands that classic French cooking techniques are the foundation of success in the kitchen and is eager to teach you those same techniques.
                                               
                                              Chef Jeremy looks forward to providing you with a solid foundation in classic French technique that will help you become a more instinctual cook and bring out your inner chef.

                                              Jeremy is currently preparing to teach the Culinary Boot Camp this summer at In Good Taste.
