                                              Michele Knaus

                                              Michele Knaus moved to the Northwest after running her Vegetarian Kosher Cafe on Vanderbilt Campus in Nashville.  She has taught culinary classes for twelve years now, and added a Masters in Education & Sustainable Leadership to her repertoire once she moved to Portland.  She channeled her passion for Farm-to-Table programs and Farmer's Markets into working with the non-profit Friends of Family Farmers, where she is currently Executive Director.  Michele welcomes any chance to use sustainable and local foods in her menus and to talk about the great food in Oregon.
